We met Burke at the home show. He followed up with us in a timely manner and was competitive with the other companies we checked out. Time frame from start to finish was less than thirty days. Others quoted as long as three months. Product was installed in half a day by a great bunch of guys working under less than satisfactory weather conditions. Would recommend EGT solar to anyone looking for a solar system.

After being lied to from the door to door companies, I stepped into EGT to see if I’d find more of the same high-pressure sales tactics that I’d experienced from other companies. On the contrary, I was met with friendly faces who were more interested in educating me about the solar industry and how going solar may benefit me. It took me more than a year to finally choose to go solar, but I’d decided in my first meeting with Steve and the EGT crew, that they were the real deal and the only company worthy of my business. I’ve had my panels a couple of weeks now. EGT handled everything beautifully and continues to offer support if needed. I love that I have a local business with a storefront that I can step into if needed. Can the door to door guys say that?

We interviewed several companies for two different solar installations. We found a continuum from very iffy to EGT. EGT has been around for years. They are honest, professional, and competent. If we do more solar projects we will, without a doubt, use EGT, and we recommend them to anyone planning to add solar to your home or business.
The landscape of solar power generation is changing in Idaho. Idaho Power has asked for and received permission to increase rates and make solar generation less a part of Idaho Power’s strategy moving forward. I wanted solar power for my house in the fall of 2021. I got three quotes. The only one that I had any confidence in was EGT. The other two companies could not answer the most basic questions. EGT gave us the best quote financially and they were way ahead of the others in their knowledge of the technology and the process. The installation was flawless and very professional.
Fast forward 18 months and we are getting another solar installation done by EGT. This time we are including a battery backup and electrical panel upgrade. They will be installing a state of the art system to better take advantage of the solar power generated. As a sales representative Burke is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He has been very easy to work with and he seems to be working 24/7 by how quickly he responds with answers. I would recommend Burke and EGT for your solar system.

I have been working with Bryan for a few years as we planned and built our forever house. He was exceptionally professional and patient throughout the process. His team was also exceptionally competent and professional. The installation crew took extra care to make the experience easy, and the craftsmanship was top-notch. There was a glitch in the plans on installation day and we had to move some mounts and panels. EGT went above and beyond, hiring a roofing company to come out and ensure everything was as good as new. Their entire crew is local so if there is an issue, they will just come out to the site and check things out. It was a really great experience, and now I am no longer paying Idaho Power! 10 out if 10 would definitely recommend!

From the moment we met Steve and started talking about solar options we knew we had the best person and company to help us plan our transition to solar. Steve is knowledgeable and is able to break it down in understandable terms. He never put any pressure on us, just options including waiting if we felt the timing and/or cost were factors. EGT has the best warranty and stands behind their product and workmanship. All these factors helped us decide we wanted to work with them on moving to solar on our home. Now that our solar is up and running I wanted to share some observations about the crew who installed the solar panels and smart panel. These guys were super friendly, answered my questions and worked as a team. It was obvious they liked working with each other and that EGT would be a good company to work for if I was looking for work. I liked how they problem solved together. EGT Solar is the very best! Rob, Dan, Steve, Casey and Team delivered as promised from start to finish and now when an inverter failed they quickly installed a new one. No cost to me as the warranty was for both parts and labor. They schedule their appointments with you and show up on time. I have a beautifully installed ground mounted array that is delivering 60+ Kw hours a day for our use and the neighbors. This team worked with me from start to finish handling all the permitting and installation with no subcontractors…everything is in house and everyone works together! I retired with 34 years in the military and know what it takes to find the right mix of personnel to have a high performing team…EGT has done that. EGT Solar has my highest recommendation as they provide both a quality product and most importantly a quality experience!

From the first contact with Burke at showroom I acquired basic information in our interest in solar for our home. Having researched three other companies and receiving quotes no other company had any displays of products or options on complete solar panel systems. The quotes from other researched solar companies systems were like apples vs oranges and required additional phone calls to clarify information. We chose EGT on their complete estimate, selection top rated panels plus several referrals from other owners in Boise. The communication from start to installation by Burke was outstanding. The installers and electricians were wonderful to answer questions and informing of details during installation process. The inspections by City of Boise and Idaho Power were passed with gratitude of EGT’s attention to details on there solar projects.

Jed has been an integral part of the EGT team since 2017 and is a tremendous asset to our project management and installation crews. Dan left his twelve-year career in the spring of 2022 as General Manager of one of the largest furniture retail locations in the country to take on this role as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Design for EGT. Dan’s extensive experience in managing sales, service, and operations ensures integrity and a customer-first commitment in all facets of project processing. As consistent, honest, and transparent messaging is vital to the Solar industry Dan has developed and implemented a rigorous training regimen for our sales and design consultants to effectively and accurately provide information to our clients and the Solar community in southern Idaho. Dan has undertaken the study and execution of all internal and external processes to better understand an ever-changing Solar market affected by innovation, legislation, utility-level policy, and financial targets of our consumers. Rob started in the solar industry with EGT in 2015 and quickly became a huge asset to the team, leading the charge for revenue growth and providing education to our community; Rob was tasked with learning all facets of this industry and implementing core procedures into the daily operations of EGT Solar, including but not limited to internal processes from permitting, finance, design, and battery integration as well as sales management and project intake.
